containing tin in large amount and with traces of aluminium, phosphorus,
silicon and manganese. It has various industrial uses.
Bronze consists of 60% copper and 40% tin. On the other hand,
commercial bronze has 90% copper and 10% tin. It is stronger and less
brittle than cast iron.
